Hillie Meyer

Hillie is an actuary with more than 40 years’ experience in the fi nancial services industry, having held senior leadership positions across insurance, pensions, investments and banking. Hillie has a long association with the Momentum Group. He joined Momentum in 1988 and held various roles before being appointed Group Chief Executive Offi cer in 1996, a position he held until 2005. He subsequently pursued opportunities as an investor in private companies and, in 2009, became a founding shareholder and managing partner of a private equity manager specialising in leveraged buy-outs. In early 2018, Hillie returned to the Momentum Group as Group CEO, a position he held until his retirement in late 2023.
