Dr Rafique Daudi is a seasoned insurance distribution and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience distributing insurance products.

Dr Daudi joined Metropolitan Ghana in 2008 as a Branch Manager and steadily advanced within the distribution structure through his dedication and exemplary service. In 2018, he was appointed to the Executive Management of Metropolitan Ghana to oversee the distribution and marketing functions across all 3 Metropolitan entities in Ghana.

Before his recent appointment as Acting CEO/Country Head of Metropolitan Ghana, Dr Daudi served as the Executive Director/Managing Director of Metropolitan Life Insurance Ghana Limited. His appointment in November 2022 was approved by the National Insurance Commission (NIC) of Ghana, the industry regulator, in January 2023.

Dr Daudi has participated in numerous local and international conferences and seminars, including 2 consecutive Momentum Group Annual Leadership Summits in South Africa. These experiences have enhanced his strategic leadership, analytical approaches, effective communication, interpersonal skills, and balanced approach to teamwork.

Dr Daudi holds a Doctorate in Management and Organisational Leadership, a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management), a Chartered Professional Postgraduate in Marketing, a Professional Diploma in Insurance, a Bachelor's in Marketing, and a Higher National Diploma in Marketing.

He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG), the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG), and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK (CIM, UK).

Dr Daudi enjoys research, playing chess, solving word puzzles, and reading leadership and business literature in his leisure time.
